Timothy W. Shafer, aged 37, from Highlandville, MO, died on September 24, 2022, in an officer-involved shooting. The incident began when Ozark Police attempted to pull over a car on suspicion of impaired driving. The vehicle, driven by Shafer, did not stop and fled south on US 65.
