Helen B. Osborne Benefiel, aged 65, tragically lost her life on August 3, 1993, in Marion, Indiana. Helen, along with her husband Francis Benefiel, was a victim of a violent crime that shocked the local community. The couple was murdered in their home by Charles E. Barker, the former boyfriend of their granddaughter, Candice Benefiel.
