Lawrence Pernell 'Low' Martin, aged 44, tragically passed away on May 29, 2009, in South Bend, Indiana. On that fateful morning, St. Joseph County police received a 911 call reporting a man down inside a residence on Laurel Road. Upon arrival, they found Martin unresponsive on the living room floor. Despite efforts by medics, he could not be revived. An autopsy later revealed that Martin had died from a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a homicide.
