Death by Force

On January 7, 2015, Katelyn Ideman, a 21-year-old resident of Beech Grove, Indiana, was tragically shot and later succumbed to her injuries. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at a home in the 100 block of North Eighth Avenue. When Beech Grove police and emergency medical crews arrived at the scene, they found Ideman suffering from a single gunshot wound. Despite being alive when first responders arrived, she was transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where she eventually died from her wound.
