On June 23, 2021, a 24-year-old field geologist named Daniel Robinson drove away from a remote job site in the desert landscape of Buckeye, Arizona, and was never seen again. A coworker, who was the last person known to have seen him, reported that Robinson left the site, located near Sun Valley Parkway and Cactus Road, around 9:15 a.m. in his blue-grey 2017 Jeep Renegade.
