In the late autumn of 2015, the community of Berne, Indiana, mourned the loss of Devin L. Hirschy, a 29-year-old man who passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Born in Adams County on June 12, 1986, to Kevin and Dorene Hirschy, Devin was a lifelong resident of the area and an employee of FCC Adams. He was a married man, having wed Heather Dorion on May 25, 2005, and was a father to two sons, Jessey and Jerry, and a daughter, Zoey.
