Deshawn D. Smith, a 20-year-old resident of Elkhart, Indiana, was tragically found dead on July 5, 2016, in Bristol, Indiana. His death was ruled a homicide by the Elkhart County Coroner's office, with the cause of death identified as gunshot wounds. Smith's body was discovered on State Line Road, and the investigation into his death has been ongoing since then.
