Edward Branch, a 32-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 11, 2016. Branch was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a yard on Commodore Drive, near 21st Street and North Arlington Avenue, around 1:40 a.m. Medics rushed him to Eskenazi Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during surgery. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) launched an investigation into his death, treating it as a homicide from the outset.
