Valerie Dicus, aged 37, was tragically found dead on August 20, 2016, in Salem, Indiana. The circumstances surrounding her death were both shocking and complex. Valerie and her boyfriend, Joseph Hobson, were discovered unresponsive in their home on Small Street in the early hours of the morning. Both were pronounced dead at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem. Preliminary autopsies revealed that Valerie died from a single gunshot wound, while Joseph suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
