In the quiet, early morning hours of a Thursday in Logansport, Indiana, the life of 18-year-old Jacob 'Jake' Graf was tragically cut short. On December 15, 2016, the promising young male, a freshman at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, was at his family's home when a 9-millimeter handgun discharged, striking him in the head. He was in the front room of the house with a friend at the time of the incident, shortly after midnight.
