On the night of January 26, 2017, tragedy struck the community of Columbus, Indiana, resulting in the untimely death of 43-year-old female Kelly R. Baker. Local law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Lafayette Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. following multiple reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Baker inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was initially transported to Columbus Regional Hospital before being airlifte ...
