In the early afternoon of a Sunday in February 2017, tragedy struck in Indianapolis, forever altering the lives of one family. On February 5th, 31-year-old Brandon Thomas was found lying in the street in the 3100 block of Forest Manor Avenue on the city's northeast side. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
