In the quiet town of Noblesville, Indiana, a tragedy unfolded on a December afternoon, forever altering the lives of those who knew Kristin Peak Tomalia. On December 17, 2020, police were called to a home on Plains Road around 1:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Inside, they discovered 37-year-old Kristin and her husband, 43-year-old Rene C. Tomalia, both suffering from severe gunshot wounds in an upstairs room of the residence.
