Andrew J. "Drew" Schwier, 26, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of September 7, 2017, outside his home on the far east side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery, which quickly escalated into a deadly shooting. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing people flee the scene shortly after the attack. Despite efforts from first responders, Schwier was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
