In the late summer of 2021, the community of Corydon, Indiana, was shaken by the tragic death of Jessica Jurine 'Jay' Meyer, a 46-year-old woman known for her generous spirit and diverse talents. On Sunday, August 8, 2021, police were called to an apartment on Wilson Street after reports of a loud argument followed by the sound of gunshots. Inside the residence, they discovered the bodies of Jessica Meyer and 48-year-old Steven Cissell.
