Joseph Greco, aged 21, was found dead on May 2, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois. His body, along with that of Donald Burton, was discovered in the trunk of Greco's own car on Montague Road. Both men were 21 years old and lived in Rockford. The double homicide attracted significant attention, partly due to the brutal nature of the crime and the context surrounding it.
