Frank Alanson Darling, a 28-year-old CIA employee, was tragically killed on January 25, 1993, in Langley, Virginia. Darling was shot while sitting in his car outside the CIA headquarters in McLean, VA. He was waiting at a traffic light with his wife, Judy, when a gunman opened fire on the stopped cars. Another CIA employee, Dr. Lansing Bennett, was also killed in the attack, and three other people were wounded.
