Angela Dales tragically lost her life on January 16, 2002, during a mass shooting at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. The shooter, Peter Odighizuwa, a former student of the law school, opened fire on campus, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including Angela Dales, and injuring three others.
