Dean Harold Meyers, a 53-year-old civil engineer, was tragically killed on October 9, 2002, in Manassas, Virginia. Meyers was one of the victims of the infamous DC Beltway Sniper attacks. On that fateful evening, Meyers had stopped at the Battlefield Sunoco gas station near Interstate 66 to refuel his car after a long day at work.
