Michael Kent Jamerson, aged 54, was found dead on May 8, 2007, in Amherst County, Virginia. His body was discovered by a turkey hunter a few feet off State Route 130. Jamerson had been shot at the location where his body was found. The investigation into his death revealed that he was murdered by Robert Gleason Jr., who was later convicted for this crime.
