Cameron Neil Justus, a 41-year-old deputy sheriff from Hurley, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 13, 2011, while on duty. Born on January 3, 1970, in Tazewell County, Virginia, Justus was a dedicated law enforcement officer with the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office. He had served the department for 12 years and was also a U.S. Army veteran who had been stationed at West Point and served in Honduras.
