John Victor Hagy, Jr., aged 54, was found dead on August 26, 2016, in a family cemetery in Vansant, Virginia. His death was the result of gunshot wounds, as confirmed by an autopsy conducted at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke. The discovery of his body came after he had been missing for eight days, during which no report had been made about his disappearance.
