Gerard Gomez, a 16-year-old from Mount Vernon, was tragically shot and killed on September 15, 2013, outside the Residence Inn on Westwood Center Drive in the Vienna/Tyson’s Corner area of Virginia. The incident occurred around 2 a.m., and despite efforts by responding officers to revive him, Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene.
