In the early morning hours of November 23, 2014, a sense of unease settled over a home on Roachs Lane in Dillwyn, Virginia. Inside, 65-year-old Radford Thomas Ranson, known to many as 'Hook,' was with a friend, 51-year-old Kenneth Dean Beasley. A third man, 39-year-old Gregory Anthony Taylor, was also present, having been brought to Ranson's home by Beasley.
