Benjamin McKinney, age 30, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of July 5, 2007, in Chicago. The incident occurred after Benjamin and a few friends traveled between two corner stores on the West Side of Chicago. He was shot five times, either upon exiting or returning to the vehicle. Despite multiple witnesses being present, the accounts have varied, and the full story remains elusive.
