Charles Earnest Taylor, aged 59, was tragically murdered on April 4, 2015, in Christiansburg, Virginia. The incident occurred at his home, where he was found dead with multiple stab wounds. The investigation revealed that Taylor was stabbed at least 29 times with a bayonet by his daughter-in-law, Amanda Taylor. Amanda Taylor, along with an accomplice, Sean Ball, was apprehended shortly after the murder in North Carolina.
