Howell, a 39-year-old woman, was fatally shot in her home on Winmeade Drive. The tragic events of January 10, 2016, unfolded in what authorities would later describe as a domestic-related murder-suicide, an incident confined to the walls of the couple's home in the otherwise peaceful Lansdowne neighborhood.
The perpetrator was identified
as Naomi's husband, 40-year-old Andre T. Howell. After shooting his wife, Andre turned the gun on himself, leaving behind a scene of sorrow and unanswered questions. The couple's young daughter, reported to be around five years old, was present in the home at the time of the incident but was thankfully physically unharmed. The couple also had an older daughter who was away at college.
