On August 26, 2007, 22-year-old Hispanic male Vicente Salgado was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of South Pulaski Road. According to police reports, Salgado was standing on the sidewalk when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
