Darion Hood, age 27, tragically lost his life on February 15, 2023, in Chicago. The incident occurred around 12:58 a.m. in the South Deering neighborhood, near the 13300 block of South Greenwood Avenue. Hood and his nephew, known as Javunte Wheeler or "Squeak" from Chicago's Pivot Gang music collective, were both fatally shot.
