Death by Force

James Sheldon, a 38-year-old resident of Charles City, VA, was tragically shot to death on November 9, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Little Elam Road. Deputies from the Charles City County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of multiple shots fired at approximately 2:35 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Sheldon unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services arrived shortly after and pronounced him dead at the scene.
