Iris Ponce Garcia, a 19-year-old resident of Reston, Virginia, was tragically found dead on September 17, 2020. The Fairfax County Police Department responded to a report of a woman lying on the ground in the area of Colts Neck Road and Glade Drive around 6:39 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Garcia suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed her identity following an autopsy.
