In the quiet, close-knit community of Honaker, Virginia, the life of 26-year-old Shane Tyler Lester was cut tragically short in a violent encounter that left another man dead and a community in shock. On the night of November 12, 2020, the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding shots fired on Fire Tower Road.
