Arthur 'Woody' Woodrow Palmer III, a 38-year-old resident of Narrows, Virginia, passed away on July 5, 2021, at his home. Born on August 25, 1982, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Arthur Palmer II and Ellen McGuire Harris. Woody was a well-respected Sergeant at the New River Valley Regional Jail, known for his dedication to training and mentoring his colleagues.
