In the late evening hours of May 6, 1995, in Franklin-township, New Jersey, a dedicated police sergeant's life was tragically cut short. Ippolito 'Lee' Gonzalez, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was nearing the end of his shift when he conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. This routine act of law enforcement would be his last.
