In the early morning hours of a Saturday in June 2016, the life of 23-year-old Karelis Agudo was tragically cut short on a street in Newark, New Jersey. The young woman was in the vicinity of 13 Grafton Avenue at approximately 3:44 a.m. when she was fatally shot. Emergency services were called to the scene, but her injuries were too severe.
