In the early morning hours of February 6, 2018, Tiffany K. Wilson, a 28-year-old mother of two, was shot and killed on the 100 block of Scheerer Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. A lifelong resident of the city, she was pronounced dead at University Hospital. The man accused of her murder was her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children, 31-year-old Kareem Dawson of Irvington.
