In the early evening hours of a warm August day in Burlington, New Jersey, the life of 24-year-old Byron Turner was tragically cut short. On August 20, 2016, just before 7 p.m., gunfire erupted outside of Turner's home on the 100 block of East Federal Street. When police arrived, they found Turner suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he succumbed to his injuries three hours later.
