On a Sunday evening in Plainfield, New Jersey, 45-year-old Benjamin Nord, a Black/African American male, was shot and killed. The incident occurred on November 11, 2018, outside a small store located on the 400 block of Liberty Street, near West Fifth Street. Plainfield Police Division patrol units responded to a report of a shooting and found Nord suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
