In the fading daylight of a Friday afternoon in Newark, New Jersey, the life of Joshua L. Ward, a 32-year-old male, was abruptly cut short. On October 30, 2020, at approximately 3:10 p.m., tragedy struck on the 700 block of Clinton Avenue, where Ward was shot.
