In the early morning hours of September 22, 2022, the life of 28-year-old Katon Washington of Montclair, a male with a promising past as a high school wrestling champion, was tragically cut short on the streets of Orange, New Jersey. At approximately 12:56 a.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night in the vicinity of Aldine and Cleveland streets, prompting a swift response from local police. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Washington suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
