In the autumn of 2022, the city of Trenton, New Jersey, was unsettled by a burst of violence that would claim the life of Rayshawn Manny Baines, a 41-year-old man from the community. On the evening of October 26th, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the sharp report of multiple gunshots pierced the night air in the area of Oakland Street and Hoffman Avenue.
