Garnetta Haggard, aged 23, tragically lost her life on February 16, 1982, in what became known as the Rock Road massacre or the Farwell murders. This horrific event took place at a farmhouse on Rock Road in Garfield Township, just west of Farwell, Michigan. Garnetta was one of seven victims, including her parents, step-sister, and three of her step-sister's children, who were brutally murdered by Robert Lee Haggart, her estranged husband.
