Theodore William Lanser, a 24-year-old resident of Buchanan, Michigan, died on January 18, 2015, under tragic and dramatic circumstances. Lanser's death occurred during a standoff with police at his mobile home in Riverside Estates. The incident began around 10:30 p.m. when neighbors reported hearing gunshots coming from Lanser's residence.
