In a tragic series of events in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, 17-year-old Kara Allen, a promising high school senior, was killed on September 21, 2016. A member of the National Honor Society and the varsity cheerleading team, she was fatally shot by her stepfather, Gregory Green. The horrific incident also claimed the lives of Kara's 19-year-old brother, Chadney Allen, and their two half-sisters, 5-year-old Koi Green and 4-year-old Kaleigh Green.
