In a tragic turn of events that left a community in shock, three-year-old Mikayla Walker lost her life on February 20, 2018, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. The devastating incident unfolded in Bangor Township, near Bay City, Michigan, where Mikayla, her two-year-old brother Dariel Walker II, and their mother, 31-year-old Nikita Landrum, were discovered. Mikayla was a young girl who would have turned four in April of that year.
