Diva Davis, aged 47, tragically lost her life on March 2, 2018, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. She and her husband, James Davis Sr., were shot and killed by their son, James Eric Davis Jr., in a dormitory at Central Michigan University. The couple had traveled from their home in Plainfield, Illinois, to pick up their son for spring break. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, and the university community was deeply shaken by the news.
