Marquis McCray, a 21-year-old resident of Hamtramck, Michigan, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2018, in a shooting incident outside MyHookah Lounge. The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Joseph Campau and Casmere streets. McCray, who had previously survived stage-4 lymphoma cancer, was fatally wounded in the incident. Two other men were also injured but survived their injuries.
