Tevin Jermal Hunter, a 28-year-old resident of South Haven, Michigan, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2021, in Covert Township. The Covert Township Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 34th Street and North Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hunter lying on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to provide medical aid, Hunter was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
