In a quiet apartment complex in Comstock Park, Michigan, the life of 35-year-old Michael Wright, a Black male, was brought to a tragic and violent end. On December 1, 2021, he was discovered deceased in his car at the York Creek Apartments. The initial call to authorities was for a man thought to be sleeping in his vehicle, but the reality was far more grim. An autopsy would later confirm that Michael Wright had been shot.
