Dawn Marie Gillard, aged 40, tragically lost her life on May 27, 2022, in Stanwood, Michigan. Dawn, along with her three young children—Katelynn, 6, Ronald, 4, and Joshua, 3—were found dead in their home in Austin Township, approximately 50 miles north of Grand Rapids. The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office reported that all four victims died from apparent gunshot wounds. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning, with many struggling to comprehend the devastating loss.
